🚨 CLEAN UP DAY UPDATE 🚨

Due to recent events and continued upkeep around the fairgrounds, the grounds are currently in good condition and we will be cancelling the scheduled clean up day on this Saturday, June 20.

Thank you to everyone who planned to volunteer—we truly appreciate your support. We are going to be a little more lenient with this year because of how well the grounds are looking.

We strongly encourage everyone to join us for our clean up day the Saturday before the fair, as this is our most important clean up day for set up and final preparations before opening day. Your help that day makes a huge difference in getting the grounds fair-ready!

We are going to plan for another clean up opportunity after the fair. Sorry about the short notice, please do not contact the fair office with questions, please refer them to your leader.

❤️ In Memory of Ronald Mitchell ❤️

Before the June Ag Society board meeting, the Monroe County Fair was honored to receive a memorial donation made in remembrance of Ronald Michell by Ron's nephew Lance Bagstad.

At the wish of Ron’s four nephews and nieces, this donation will help create a lasting educational experience for fairgoers. The donation will be directed toward either a milking simulator or an interactive display that shows the journey of how milk is transformed into cheese and cheese curds — celebrating agriculture and helping future generations connect with Wisconsin’s dairy heritage.

In addition, a memorial bench is being created in Ron’s honor, providing a place for visitors to sit, reflect, and enjoy the fairgrounds for years to come.

We are grateful for this meaningful tribute and for the lasting impact Ron’s memory will have on our fair community.
