Breast Cancer Awareness Month may be coming to a close, but our commitment to supporting women never ends.
Thanks to the incredible partnership with the YWCA of Northwest Ohio, women in our community have access to vital resources that empower them to advocate for their health, pursue prevention, and navigate their care journey with confidence.
💗 The funds raised through our annual Pollyball Tournament make this impact possible — and we couldn’t be more grateful.
Together, we’re not just raising awareness. We’re changing lives.
The Hylant Family Foundation has partnered with YWCA in raising funds to save lives through early detection and give locals support and education for breast cancer for 34 years.
Pollyball was created after beloved wife, mother, and sister Polly Hylant-Tracy, lost her battle with breast cancer in 1990. The Hylant and Tracy families, wanting to celebrate Polly and her love for backyard volleyball came together to create the event Pollyball. A volleyball tournament benefiting YWCA of Northwest Ohio’s Healthy Connections program.
Since its inception in 1991, Pollyball has raised over $1,500,000 to support early detection, education, and awareness programs for those most underserved in our community. Every year, we continue the fight, supporting survivors and spreading awareness.
