"I am resigning my position at Sandywoods effective midnight on Sunday, March 29, 2015. My work here has been always interesting, always challenging, sometimes even fun! I've met thousands of extraordinary people who would otherwise never have crossed my path. But it's time for a new challenge. I leave proud of the foundation that's been built during the past few years, and I also leave with the fervent hope that the powers that be don't muck things up too badly! Carry on. That is all."

TONIGHT! TONIGHT! Sandywoods Center for the Arts in Tiverton, RI welcomes singer-songwriter Mike Laureanno, fresh off his appearance at Stone Soup Coffeehouse last weekend, opening for Antje Duvekot. Make sure you pick up Mike's critically acclaimed CD "Pushing Back Wintertime" at tonight's show. Mike will be joined by singer-songwriter Chuck Williams, president of the Rhode Island Songwriters Association. 43 Muse Way in Tiverton, 7 pm start, BYOB, $12 at the door.

Tomorrow is "SANDYWOODS DAY" on WADK! You can tune in at 1540 AM or listen online at www.wadk.com. From 9 am until noon, host Bruce Newbury will be broadcasting live from Sandywoods in Tiverton. From 3 pm to 5 pm, Sandywoods Day will continue at the WADK station in Newport with host Dave Rogers. We'll have lots of interesting guests joining us all day long. Live music too!
