As the annual Heritage Day in Iuka, Mississippi draws closer, there is one other thing that the residents of Tishomingo County might want to mark their calendars for. Heritage Day is scheduled to be August 30th through the 31st this year, but the Labor Day fun doesn't have to end there. I would like to remind everyone that this year happens to be the 40th anniversary of the annual Tishomingo Wagon Train. The Wagon train will come to roost, or camp out at the usual spot at 91 CR 55 in Tishomingo, Mississippi this Labor Day weekend from August 30th until September 2nd. They will ride in to the arena on the afternoon of Friday before Labor day and they will be camped there until Monday afternoon. The Wagon train is scheduled to ride out Monday morning for their ride through the county, so if you didn't get to see them on the other days, be on the lookout! This year we will have food vendors on site as well as a snow cone stand. We are so proud to be running for 40 years now and it has been an adventurous and educational, historic event from year one. We are always eager to meet new people, pique curiosity, and enjoy good conversation. We also hope to be doing this for years to come! Share this with your friends and family as a reminder, and if you have any questions, feel free to message the page (or) message Jessica Dawn Huggins.
