Tippapalooza 2025 was our biggest year ever as we celebrated local music along with 700 friends and neighbors!
The Tippapalooza Board would like to extend our sincere thanks to the people and organizations that help make Tippapalooza possible.
City of Tipp City - Government for going above and beyond to make our party a success. They allowed us to take over South Second Street. They provided electricity to power the stage and our other needs, they provided garbage cans to keep our space tidy, and the Tipp City Police Department served our security needs. We were not surprised that everyone in attendance was well-behaved, and the officers involved could enjoy a stress-free evening enjoying the music.
Tipp Foundation, thanks to a generous grant, provided free admission for everyone! We hope with similar support from others we can continue to provide a free concert next year.
Mauk Cabinets by Design, Tipp City Chamber of Commerce, Tipp City Eagles Aerie 2201, and Monroe Federal Savings & Loan Association for their sponsorships and financial contributions. It takes money to make this event happen.
Adam Holtvogt and Bishko Books, for donating printing services for our posters, signs, and other materials.
A special thank you to the Tipp City businesses for providing food and drinks for our guests: Red Devil Pizza, Harrison's Restaurant, Rad Candy, AeCha Cafe, Bodega Market, Sip N Smash, and Tipp City Pizza. The restaurants also donated food to feed the bands.
A special thank you to Chaffee’s Brewhouse. Lisa and Shawn Richards and their staff were helpful partners every step of the way during the planning and presentation of Tippapalooza.
Downtown Tipp City Partnership for loaning us chairs and coolers, and Tasha Weaver who supported us with her time and advice.
Tipp City Public Library for use of their tables.
Tipp Monroe Community Services for use of their tents.
Gary Pelini, who once again was our official Tippapalooza photographer.
Art Jipson (and WUDR Flyer Radio) for serving as our MC and for his enthusiastic support of Tippapalooza and for his tireless support of the Dayton music scene.
Monroe Federal Savings & Loan Association for use of their parking lot.
We could not do this without the fantastic musical talents of Sadbox, Salvadore Ross, Thunderlover, and The Boxcar Suite.
Other folks volunteered or went out of their way to help in one way or another: Joellen Myers Heatherly, Lona Stout Slanker, JJ Slanker, Linda Duesterhaus, Jill Moody Brown, Jane Landis, Tristan Wickline, Hailey Thompson, Joanne Casale, Don Cribbet, and Brenda Mahaney.
The other South Second Street businesses: Broadway Hair Design, Bloomora Botanicals, and Seven Sisters Apothecary & Art; and the residents of South Second Street who allowed us to take over the street.
And finally, thank you to everyone who put a yard sign in front of their house, hung a poster in their business, told their friends about us, came to the event, drank some beer, ate some food, bought some band merchandise, bought a 50/50 ticket, and most importantly enjoyed the music.
THANK YOU!
The Tippapalooza Board consists of Bill Wendel, Lisa Santucci, David Wickline, Heather Romer Wendel, Terrie Pierson Hottle, Tasha Weaver, Lisa Richards, & Jay Cullis.
One final note, if you enjoyed Tippapalooza, love live music, and want to give back to your community, we are looking for volunteers to help run Tippapalooza 2026. We know that you have talents that can help make Tippapalooza even better in the future. Please let us know if you are interested.
