17 runners currently signed up for this year's Spaulding Woods 50K are taking on their first ultramarathon.

One of our favorite parts of race day each year is seeing runners become ultrarunners.

This course still asks something of you. The terrain stays technical, the challenge builds over time, and when you finish here, it's earned.

A few photos from one of the new trail sections added to the Spaulding Woods 50K course this year.

The local mountain biking community has put a huge amount of work into shaping and maintaining many of these trails over time, and we continue to do our part each year leading into race day with trail cleanup, bridge work, and course maintenance throughout the system.

Excited for runners to experience this section in July.

Just got a look at the 2026 Spaulding Woods 50K race shirts 👀

Really happy with how these came out. These are performance shirts you’ll actually want to run in.

I’ll be placing the shirt order the first week of May, so if you’re planning to run and want to make sure you get your size, sign up before then.

After that, I’ll do my best, but no guarantees.
