The Tillamook County Fairgrounds is hiring an Admin Assistant/Vendor Coordinator.....and our ā€œapplicantsā€ are very serious about reviewing the posting.

We’re looking for someone who notices what needs to be done and jumps in. Someone who thinks one step ahead, solves problems, and can work independently without constant direction. This role is perfect for someone who is organized, adaptable, analytical, and self-driven in a fast-paced environment where every day is different.

The right person is a strong communicator who enjoys working with vendors, event organizers, and the public. We value people who don’t just point out problems, but come forward with solutions.

Customer service and computer skills matter, but we’re also looking for someone who helps our team thrive, someone dependable, flexible, and willing to pitch in wherever needed.

If that sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you. Find more info and how to apply on the Fairgrounds website: https://www.tillamookfair.com/jobs.aspx

A huge THANK YOU to Leonnig Excavating, Netarts Water District, and our own Head Maintenance Manager Ryan for jumping into action last week when a water main leak surfaced (literally) at the Fairgrounds.

The leak was severe enough that it was pushing up the asphalt in the parking lot, and thanks to the quick response and teamwork from everyone involved, the issue was identified and repaired quickly. Netarts Water District helped locate the source of the leak, and Todd from Leonnig Excavating promptly stepped in to dig up the asphalt so repairs could be made.

We also want to recognize Ryan for managing the project, coordinating the response, and getting help on the way so quickly.

We are continually reminded how fortunate we are to live in a community that comes together when there’s a problem to solve. Your support, responsiveness, and teamwork mean so much to us, THANK YOU ALL!

Remember being a kid at the Fair….scanning the skyline for your favorite ride, or spotting a brand new one that looked just a little bigger, a little faster, a little braver than the rest? šŸŽ¢

This August, we’re bringing it all back with Rainier Amusements and a full carnival experience, something not every Oregon fair can say.

Whether you're reliving it or watching it happen for the first time, the magic of the carnival is something worth passing on. All-You-Can-Ride Wristband vouchers will be available soon… this is your sign to start the countdown!

August at the Fair just hits different.

Honestly, we’re dreaming about that first fair bite already šŸ˜‹ What’s YOUR must-have fair treat?

Every year, the Fair brings back the flavors we crave...crispy Pronto Pups, yummy Lemonade Thrillers, warm, sugary elephant ears, garlic fries from the Greek stand, Thai food from Marsalee's, the Tillamook ice cream booth, Hawaiian Shave Ice, Garibaldi Portside Bistro, and too many more to list!

The Fair food tour *might* be our favorite part of Fair, and we’re already counting down to August 5th.

Throwing it back this Thursday to a true Fairgrounds classic...the domed Exhibit Hall!

Built in 1925, the Main Exhibit Hall stood proud as a hub of activity, filled with exhibits, displays, and the best of Tillamook County.

Over a century later, that same building still serves as a centerpiece of the Tillamook County Fair, bringing the community together to celebrate local talent, creativity, and tradition.

Same building, generations of memories. Let's make more memories at this year's Fair, August 5-8, 2026.

Experience one of the most special parts of our county fair, the animal exhibits! Featuring 4H, FFA, and open class entries, you can see a variety of animals up close, just like a fair should be. Cows, pigs, chickens, sheep, goats....even rabbits and guinea pigs!

Walk through the barns, meet the animals, meet the kids, and you might even get the chance to pet them and learn something new.

It’s hands-on, it’s real, and it’s all waiting for you at the Tillamook County Fair, August 5-8, 2026.

Bring the family and come make some memories, we’ll see you in the barns!
