LET’S TALK ABOUT THE WHOLE STORY.
Recently, three reviews from our venue have been coming up in conversations with families who are considering booking with us. What many people don’t realize is that all three reviews came from the same family and the same event.
That night, we hosted the Chavez family, and we want to make something very clear: the Chavez family had absolutely nothing to do with those reviews or the situation being discussed.
What also seems to be left out of the story is what actually happened that evening.
Our security team was called disturbing and racially offensive names simply because they are African American. Let us be very clear:
WE DO NOT TOLERATE RACISM IN OUR BUILDING. PERIOD.
We don’t care who you are, what your last name is, or how much you paid for an event. Everyone who walks through our doors deserves to be treated with dignity and respect — including our staff, our security, our vendors, and your guests.
If you are going to call our venue “unprofessional,” that is your right. But if you’re going to tell the story, tell the entire story — not just the parts that make our venue look like the bad guy.
We have never claimed to be perfect, but we will always stand behind doing what we believe is right and protecting the people who work with us.
And one more thing…
The families who come to us interested in booking our venue? They ALWAYS lock in their dates. ❤️
We are going to continue doing what we do: creating beautiful events, treating people with respect, and providing a safe environment for everyone who walks through our doors.
