A Glimpse Into Tifton’s History: The Camellia House
Known as The Camellia House of Tifton, this beautiful historic home has been part of Tifton’s story for more than a century.
Construction began in 1905 by William Samuel Cobb Sr. and his wife, Martha Berry Atkinson. Mr. Cobb was involved in the fertilizer business and served as a deacon at First Baptist Church of Tifton for more than 30 years.
Today, The Camellia House stands as a beautiful reminder of Tifton’s rich history, architecture, and the people who helped shape our community. ❤️🌿
