Hosted my first farm to table dinner last night. Played with some new menu ideas. The appetizers were prime rib bites on cheese bread and a homemade cranberry jalapeño dip with crackers and fresh celery, carrot, ginger cashew soup and a watermelon, feta mint salad, homemade rolls, pork loin, brussels sprouts, and smoked Gouda mashed potatoes, and of course fresh rhubarb pie from the garden with ice cream for dessert.

If you read my former post on the Fairgrounds, I did edit it to some new information. I never want to give out false information and appeared that I was given false information about the future of the fair. I apologize.

I would encourage everyone to go to the Gatton county Fairgrounds website and click on this link and look at what the purpose of this meeting is. My understanding is that they are considering taking out the Fairgrounds in its entirety and turning that land into something else. I of course, believe that Bozeman and Gallatin county need to have a county fair that’s been in place for many years and has many benefits. I would encourage you to come to the meeting and listen and voice your opinions. I dont think many people know whst they’re considering doing. I will be there of course to honor Dennis. I would love to join anyone after the meeting for a bite to eat or a drink.

And they cut off the head with the kitchen knife.… Thanks to Rose M Sande for her help taking care of the rattlesnake that decided to live right outside my door last night. 
And we did cut the head off with the kitchen knife or should I say Rose did. Don’t worry, I washed it.
