TOArts is the fundraising and presenting partner of the Bank of America Performing Arts Center () in Thousand Oaks, CA. The performing arts have the profound ability to inspire performers and audiences alike to reach for the stars, discover new perspectives, and strengthen bonds between individuals through shared transformative experiences. TOArts has an ambitious goal to broaden access

and exposure to the performing arts for this and future generations through a set of innovative programs:

1. Kids and the Arts: TRANSFORMING lives through arts exposure.
2. TOArts Presents: UPLIFTING the community through world-class performances.
3. Dr. Raymond M. Olson Performance Grants: SUPPORTING the dreams of local artists through theatre credit grants.
4. AccessArts: EDUCATING and INSPIRING elementary school children with equal access to high quality sequential arts education.

Class is officially in session! YALA kicked off earlier this month with our largest cohort yet! 🙌 The first Guest Teaching Artist, Broadway actor, writer, and performer Trent Mills, joined the kickoff to lead some fun improv icebreakers—like this name game with a twist! 🎭

Over the next 10 months, the YALA cohort will meet monthly to learn about project management, budgeting, teamwork, and leadership—all while producing a capstone event to benefit the community next May. 🌟

As a fellow in the TOArts Artist Incubator—our newest program supporting artists through mentorship, professional development, and creative community—Susan is expanding her practice and inspiring others to do the same. 💫
