well boogie family its less than a month away! I just got word we have 50 tent or small trailor sites left in open field camping ! Camping at the boogie is an experience and a world of its own . folks are asking about Friday parking and gate. the parking will open at 1 pm and the gate will open at 3pm with first band at 5pm august 14th. this first night "official" night of the boogie is not to be missed . if your camping you know the boogie experience is all week in the campground. sad day today as you all know we lost Dereck today . a kind colorful soul and friend that helped create the laid back vibe of the boogie. I always looked forward to seeing Dereck and Theo at the shack for breakfast or at our yearly blues gathering every august . I know I will still look for him . he will be there in spirit and in every bubble and I have a feeling there will be lots of bubbles this year .lets keep Derrick and Theo in our thoughts and hearts and keep his kind colorful way part of the boogie for years to come RIP Derrick and thank you .
