The Minnesota State Fair is going on, and Pennington County Fair Board members Aaron and Allie are at the airport, ready to fly to Minneapolis!

For the second year in a row, we’re excited to bring you Sunday at the State Fair . . . or at least Sunday until 5 PM. 😆 Follow along tomorrow as we explore, sample fair food and share a little State Fair fun!

If you spot us, come say hello, take a picture with us and maybe even sample something together!

What would you like us to check out tomorrow? BONUS: If you’re a Pennington County 4-H member exhibiting at the State Fair, let us know where we can find you . . . we would love to stop by and interview you!

One of my favorite moments happened last night when a mom told me about her son. He is autistic and loves the fair, but the crowds and stimulation make it hard for him to attend. Instead, he watches our live videos.

This morning she sent me this photo and said he had been watching since 6:00 AM.

Moments like this remind us that sometimes bringing the fair to someone is just as important as bringing someone to the fair.

Thank you for spending this week with us. Whether you’ve walked the fairgrounds or watched from home, you’ve been part of something special.

Let’s make Family Day one to remember.
