What a year it has been, in all the best ways a human can experience it, through the heart.
I wanted to express my gratitude for your part in making my world a brighter place.
Moving to The Dalles, selling flowers at the farmers market, making pesto, hosting ladies night, and now knowing so many familiar faces around town, has been the greatest gift to me and my family.
The humility and ease of working with the land was the teacher.
Some of it feels so natural, while none of it is in my control.
There was no choice but to step into a place of quiet observation and witness the arrival of each and every bloom.
What a gift.
I picked my final bouquet of the year on Sunday (wow!), dug up what feels like a million dahlias and made the final batch of Dadās Garden Pesto for the season.
It was bitter sweet and perfect.
I donāt know what next season holds for Skyline Farms.
But I know my heart has a BIG vision.
Iām going to take the winter to finish my book, coach a few amazing women and receive the gifts of being in my feminine slow, soft, receptive and full of appreciation.
God presented me with the BIGGEST year of the hardest challenges and the greatest gifts.
Not only do I feel more resilient, but rather transformed.
I want to share with you a powerful and moving piece of writing by the Haudenosaunee people of upstate NY where I am from.
Itās Called the Thanksgiving Address-Greetings To The Natural World
Its a wonderful ritual I share with my family as a way to create connection on a deeper level.
I invite you to print it off and āpass the paperāat your holiday gatherings.

Your people will be moved and will thank you for it.
Blessings for a beautiful holiday season and a soft new year!
With love,
