I am a little behind in my post, but we started our contract negotiations with the Company yesterday. We exchanged proposals and will begin discussions with the Company on Thursday. As for tomorrow we have more prep work to complete before then. Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers as we begin this process.

Brothers & Sisters,

I have created this page as a way for all members of the Associated Guards of the United States to get the most up to date information on the business of our union. Let's face it, most all of us, including myself, love & live on Facebook. I can only think of one member that doesn't use this service, so I will keep in touch with him directly. I will do my best to keep this page updated with the "latest & greatest" information. At this time, I am limiting access to MEMBERS ONLY.
I am so proud of what we have accomplished over the last year and I know that we have a bright future ahead of us if we all stick together. Let's show the new leadership team of Marathon Petroleum why we are the best at what we do and why we are an asset worth keeping as we strive each day to protect the lives and property of the Galveston Bay Refinery.
