What’s hitting your table?

Played anything good lately? Maybe a new game you finally got to try or an old favorite that always makes it to game night.

Tell us what you’ve been playing and what you liked about it. Share a photo in the comments—we’d love to see your group in action!

PeliCON 2027 badges are on sale now! Join us January 15–16 at the Texas City Convention Center.

Layne and his son Logan got in a game of Tiny Epic Galaxies at The Garden in Texas City!

It’s a dice game where you send ships out to colonize planets and build your galactic empire. A whole space adventure in a box small enough to bring along.

What’s an unusual place you’ve played a board game? Share a picture in the comments—we’d love to see where you’ve taken your games.

A few pictures from a game day at Homer’s! Homer, Ron, and Layne got together with friends Will and Cody to play Wingspan and Viticulture.

It’s always nice to get the PeliCON Krewe around the table for some games.

Tickets for PeliCON 2027 are now on sale at ThePeliCON.com!

Join us Friday and Saturday, January 15–16, 2027, at the Texas City Convention Center. One $35 ticket covers both days, and parking is free!

Beginners and gaming veterans alike are welcome. Your ticket includes access to our vast board game library, thanks to Dustin and the Rosenberg Library, plus Learn to Play sessions, game demos, and Play to Win.

How does Play to Win work? Everyone who plays a participating game is entered into a drawing to win that game—whether they win or lose at the table! Our first confirmed Play to Win game is Foundations of Rome.

Between games, grab a bite from our food vendors and browse the game vendors, including many returning from this year’s convention.

PeliCON will continue supporting local charities, building on our support for the Humane Society in 2025 and the Galveston County Food Bank in 2026.

Get your two-day ticket for $35 at ThePeliCON.com!

First off PeliCON wants to thank all of the amazing Table Top Players in the greater Gulf Coast area for trusting us and coming to PeliCON 2026!!! We had people from Oklahoma, Louisiana, and all over Texas.

With your help we were able to raise $3440.00 in raffle prize money and donations for the Galveston County Food Bank.

Our main mission other than to learn awesome new games is to give back to the community and to have an event where every dollar you spend you feel you are getting value for. We will be posting pictures from the whole weekend soon and we are looking at doing some single day events in the future to really key in on some aspects of Table Top Gaming that we feel we can do better on.

Most importantly we want to thank our main Sponsors The Shock Doc Electrical Services Company , Hometown Bank , and Weird Giraffe Games . Without our sponsors we wouldn't have been able to do this.
