ok team heres the update for the event:
East Texas Race Wars will begin July 9th, 2016 to be held @ Cedar Creek Drag
Gates will open at 3pm
Prep Runs will start at 330 no times posted
Time Runs will begin at 430 with times posted
Once we start everyone will need to have registered so we have everything setup and ready to post times. All time slips will be turned into James Starek Jr. and or myself.

****Other update****
Entry Fees are as follows:

Race fee of $20 from each racer due before start of time trials, this will help pay for food that we will be selling to help buy awards and such as this project moves forward with a end of the year

Trophy to be presented to the Top 3 spots and plaques to the remaining 7 on the lists, if we can do it.

It will cost you $20 at the gate to get in, that goes to the track and not us. So the first night you will need $40 bucks to get in and race for the Top 10 list, after that it will be $20 each time to get in the gate. All money raised by NETXS and CCMC will be out back into this event one way or the other.

We will be looking into getting shirts made among other things as this moves forward based on the numbers we are getting to race!

Ok we've been listening and here's what we got.
These classes are for registered and insured street legal cars.
V6 class: strictly for NA V6s to compete with each other
Street/Radials Class: Anybody on streets or Radials
Slicks Class: Anybody running Slicks
We will have a future date in July to establish the top 10 list for each class. Once the lists are established the challenges can begin. All call outs have to go through me or Jeremy Matherly. You can only challenge the person directly above you on the list. If you didn't make the list you can challenge the 10th position. If more than one racer wants to challenge 10th, a run off will determine who can challenge 10th position. If a position holder is called out and does not show then they will move down one automatically.
