Important Announcement: Universal Vibe Festival 2026
After a great deal of consideration, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the 2026 Universal Vibe Festival.
The funding needed to produce the full experience did not come together. Without it, we could not deliver the live music, performances, workshops, activities, and other programming our community has come to expect. Moving forward would have meant presenting an event that did not resemble what we advertised or what Universal Vibe has created in previous years. We are choosing not to force a version of the festival that we cannot fully stand behind.
We sincerely apologize to everyone who was looking forward to attending. We are especially sorry to the vendors, sponsors, musicians, presenters, volunteers, and community partners who invested their time, money, energy, creativity, and trust in this year’s plans. We recognize the impact this decision has on each of you, and we do not take your support lightly.
We have a meeting with the city on October 20 to learn whether Universal Vibe may receive an A&P grant that could help fund the festival in 2027. We hope this is not the end of the Universal Vibe Festival—only a pause that allows us to come back stronger, properly funded, and able to deliver the experience our community deserves.
Universal Vibe has always been more than one festival. Our mission exists every single day: to bring something good to Texarkana through art, wellness, music, service, and connection. Whether that looks like a community festival, yoga in the park, feeding people experiencing homelessness, supporting local causes, or creating spaces where people feel seen and connected, the heart of Universal Vibe will continue.
Moving forward, we will be placing more of our focus on Universal Vibe Foundation Inc. and collaborating with other organizations throughout Texarkana to continue serving our community and advancing this mission.
Thank you for believing in Universal Vibe, supporting us throughout the years, and giving us the opportunity to serve this community. This chapter may look different than we imagined, but our mission continues.
Heal. Evolve. Thrive.
