The Velvet Room THBC

10/11/2026

The Velvet Room is the home for live music in Terre Haute, and this week proves exactly why.

One stage built for people who still believe live music should be live, local, authentic, and unforgettable.

The party kicks off Thursday with Open Mic Night from 6-10 PM, where the area's best hidden talent, seasoned performers, and first-time singers all share the same stage. You never know what you're going to see, and that's what makes it special.

Friday, we're excited to welcome High Street Jack to The Velvet Room. Hailing from Bloomington, these guys have built a reputation for delivering high-energy performances, great musicianship, and the kind of crowd connection that turns a good night into a great one. If you haven't caught them live yet, Friday is your chance to see why they've become a favorite wherever they play.

Then Saturday, we bring you what might be one of the most exciting lineups of the year.

Pop Up Safety Baby returns to the scene and they choose The Velvet Room, and if you've seen them before, you already know this is a don't-miss show. Their last appearance together left people talking long after the lights came up, and they're back on the scene to do it again.

Joining them is Terre Haute's own Space Rider, delivering the big riffs, powerful sound, and a local rock energy that continues to make them one of the area's standout acts. Add in Long Pigs, bringing their own brand of intensity and stage presence, and you've got a lineup that perfectly blends local dominance with out-of-town greatness.

This isn't background noise. This isn't a night spent staring at your phone. This is live music the way it's supposed to be experienced.

If you're an adult looking for something real, something exciting, and something worth leaving the house for, The Velvet Room is where you need to be this week.

Thursday starts the party. Friday turns up the volume. Saturday blows the roof off.
