Thanks to everyone that came to Sunday Shenanies yesterday at Mitchell Park! It felt really good and was a beautiful day! I am looking forward to more events like this in the future.

I do want to ask one more time for donations for the PA/Sound (and whatever we go over, goes towards the bands), and tips for the bands. Big ups to everyone that has already given! Thank you!

I am sure you might have seen the social media, or gotten the postcard, but the Mitchell Park Neighborhood Association with Fox & Peacock Productions is bringing Sunday Shenanies, to Mitchell Park from 3pm to 5pm on Sunday, February 1st, with two neighborhood bands, The Liar's Handshake and The Ultramatics.

The event is free, but right now we are encouraging venmo donations for the sound system for the event (and at the event and post-event we will be encouraged to tip the bands). You can venmo for donations to cover sound (we can arrange other forms of donation as well).

The event will be BYOBeer. The permit is for beer only, but feel free to have some suds while listening to two well known Phoenix bands that have a deep connection
to our neighborhood.
We can't wait to see you there!

We are saddened to hear of the passing of Tempe music legend, Kevin Daly. We were honored to have him play at the Fox and Peacock Music Festival, and how badass it was that he just walked to the park from his house a few blocks away carrying his amp and guitar through the hood.

Come down to Tempe's City Hall on Thursday, December 11th, to celebrate Kevin's life as the city name the day Kevin Daly Day.

Council meeting starts at 6pm, the presentation will be early in the meeting.

How a grassroots push turned into an official city honor for a local music scene lifer.
