Cookies N’ Cocoa is an annual event that started in 2019 after founder, Cierra Chamot, lost her best friend, Heather, in a car accident. Heather was a dedicated teacher, sister, friend, and a follower of Jesus. Her smile and laughter was contagious and her passion for her students was inspiring. Her willingness to adventure and try new things was exciting. While we have full confidence that she’s dancing with Jesus now, she’s greatly missed here on earth. Cierra has a passion for events and wanted to do something in honor of Heather, which is how Cookies N’ Cocoa was founded. Cierra loves Christmas, as did Heather, so she decided to combine that love with Heather’s passion for her students and create a Christmas event that benefits students within the valley. The idea behind it is that families can enjoy a fun, family event and get free cookies and hot cocoa while making a donation to help a local school. Keep watching for updates and events!
