We are all original thinkers when we put our minds to it. Original Thinkers is a new festival of art, ideas and documentaries that will create change by bringing together a rad collective of creators, innovators and most of all, doers.

Looking back to OT25, a real highlight was the inaugural gathering of the Telluride Men’s Health Club. On a rainy Saturday, forty (40!) men met up in the backroom at The Grand to listen to each other share and talk about our health. It was a fascinating and fun two hours with many of us hanging around after to talk more and we could see the need for this is real.

The main question being asked in a variety of ways was: What do you want from the Telluride Men’s Health Club?

The answers were wide-ranging and hugely helpful: skin-cancer screenings, nutrition guidance, community-building and so much more were mentioned. What was also very clear was the desire to meet up again so we are going to gather seasonally with the Winter Club Meeting happening January 8th at OAK from 5-7 pm.

The evening will include free apps, beverages and schwag as well as a speaker who will be announced soon. If you want to be a part of this evening or join the club, you can sign up by filling out the poll at telluridemenshealthclub.com. We hope to see you there.

After 12 terms serving San Miguel County, Sheriff Bill Masters is stepping into a new role — the subject of a documentary led by filmmakers David Holbrooke and Gus Gusciora.

With the working title Peace Officer, the film dives into Masters’ decades of service, his philosophy of compassion in law enforcement, and the community that shaped him. Slated for release next year, the film is being called “a story America really wants and really needs,” Holbrooke said.

Meet Jade Rose! ✨ With Masters degrees in Fine Art and Social Work, Jade has been teaching Pranakriya yoga and meditation since 2008. Her paintings, writings, and philosophy all center around the unity of beings, reminding us that we are one with our breath, the water we drink, and the mountains we see.
