Telluride is world-renowned for its splendor and its beauty. And Telluride Festival of Cars & Colors will continue the time-honored tradition of the Concours d’Elegance, and gather the world’s finest automobiles at one of America’s most beautiful destinations.
Scenic Telluride and the rugged San Jan Mountains will be the backdrop for our event, as it introduces million-dollar automobiles into its spectacular palette of autumnal colors.
Set for the last full weekend every September, our festival will occupy three distinct venues over the course of four days: downtown Telluride Historic District, the luxurious hamlet of Mountain Village, and America’s highest commercial airstrip, the 9,070-foot Telluride Regional Airport.
Settle into one of Mountain Village’s luxurious hotels, and then spend a long weekend experiencing the inaugural Mountain Village Golf Course Concours d’Elegance. You’ll see exquisite vintage machines, top-flight restorations, international exotics, and the very cream of the American classic and sports car crop, displayed in the shadow of Telluride Ski Resort’s towering peaks.
Attending the Million Dollar Highway Poker Run Rally will reward you with the most visually stunning driving experience in these United States. As picturesque Telluride disappears in the rear view mirror, a brilliant canopy of garnet and gold beckons you. With the soothing cacophony of internal combustion humming in your ears, the aspen’s blinding yellow flames lead the way as you traverse hundreds of exhilarating turns, and thousands of feet in altitude.
And as you glide through tiny, timeworn towns like Ridgway, Silverton, Durango, and Rico, you’ll arrive at a stunning realization: a more rewarding, more spectacular American drive, there is none.
Additional auto events include Cool Cars on Colorado car shows, located on Telluride’s Colorado Avenue and running from Friday through Sunday. Meet fellow enthusiasts, visit our rustic shops and restaurants, and enjoy multiple venues of live music. And on Saturday, marvel at the speed and beauty of luxury airplanes at the Regional Airport air performances.
And if your perfect weekend includes parking your vehicle and exploring the festival on foot, Telluride’s swift public transit and free gondola service will quickly get you to every event location!
Throw in the Morning ReVV, the Musicians, great car exhibits, and the cocktail hours and VIP gatherings, and you have to work hard to take it all in! And that’s not even including Telluride itself: our town is packed with amazing outdoor activities: the ATV tours, the mountain biking trails, the hanging waterfall hikes, the fly fishing, the 18-hole golf course, the rock climbing, the glider and hot air balloon rides—should we go on?
The Telluride Festival of Cars & Colors is a family-friendly festival, and we’ve created numerous specially curated activities to ensure that your family has just as much fun as we automobile aficionados do.
There are a variety of social events, including outdoor tours, relaxing spa sessions, shopping trips, and wine and cheese socials. As greater Telluride features some of the most opulent homes in Colorado, they’ll be on display during Saturday’s Parade of Homes event.
