🎉 The votes are in! Our Pawpaw Fest 2026 onsite t-shirt colors will be… Forest Green + Orchid 👕🍃🦋

Forest Green took the win, and while Light Green was a close second, we decided to mix it up so the onsite lineup wasn’t all green.

Want a different color? Don’t worry — all shirt colors will still be available on the website!

The pawpaws out on the farm are sizing up nicely, and fall festival season is starting to feel real around here.

🎉 We’re excited to share that the 2026 SC Pawpaw Festival artwork is officially live! Thanks to the talented Matt Andrews for once again knocking this design out of the park!

This year, we’re celebrating the “Year of the Butterfly” 🦋 featuring the zebra swallowtail, along with other wildlife like the pawpaw sphinx moth that depend on the pawpaw tree. It’s a small glimpse into the bigger ecosystem this incredible native tree supports.

And this is just the beginning…Parking passes will go on sale May 15th. And over the next month, we’ll be sharing more about this year’s speakers, music, and makers lineup. Stay tuned, there’s a lot to come. 🌿

Hey Pawpaw Folks! One of the bands, Pretty Little Goat, is missing a silver case like the one pictured full of guitar pedals. If you happened to find this box among your belongings please reach out and let's coordinate getting this returned to them.

These folks do so much to support our community through JAM (Junior Appalachian Musicians) and other performances for non-profits in the area that we really want to make sure we support them as best we can.

It was a beautiful Carolina sky over the '25 SC Pawpaw Festival and we had a wonderful time sharing our love of the largest edible fruit native to North America.

We would like to give a huge thanks to the speakers, vendors, bands, friends, and most importantly the volunteers who made this year possible. A special thank you goes to the Travelers Rest High School Agriculture & FFA and the South Carolina Native Plant Society for providing a huge team of volunteers to the event and saving the day by covering for a few under the weather regular volunteers.

At the end of the day we welcomed 900 of our closest pawpaw loving friends to this years Festival at Blue Oak Horticulture, many of whom tried pawpaws for the first time in their lives. Over the next few weeks there will be many new pawpaw trees planted in landscapes across the Carolinas and Georgia in hopes of a wonderful harvest a few years down the road.

The crowds gathered around to hear Marcie Dallman from Clemson University, Patrick McMilllan of "Expeditions with Patrick McMillan", Seren Petrichor with Petrichor Pawpaws, and JE Bradley give top notch presentations.

There were many smiling faces enjoying pawpaw beer and cider from Carolina Bauernhaus Brewery & Winery, pawpaw ice cream from CynPot House TR, pawpaw pizza from fermentary kitchen, pawpaw BBQ sauce from Doin' the Butts, pawpaw crema aqua fresca from The Healthy Food Truck, and pawpaw lemonade from Jake's Lemonade Lab.

And of course, it wouldn't be the same without the incredible sound of Pretty Little Goat, The Well Drinkers, and St. Bruce.

A huge thanks also goes to our offsite farm pawpaw fruit suppliers Chattooga Belle Farm and Busy Bee Acres.

Thank you all so much for making the 2025 SC Pawpaw Festival a success!!! We look forward to seeing you back here next year!

Vendor Spotlight: Tryon Mountain Farms

Just across the North Carolina state line, Tryon Mountain Farms is a small, sustainable family farm run by Tracy and Carolyn Henry. Since 2019, they’ve been crafting an award-winning line of simple syrups and seasoning salts using homegrown ingredients.

For this year’s festival, they’re bringing back their Pawpaw Scuppernong Simple Syrup—originally created for the 2024 SC Pawpaw Festival! Don’t miss a taste of this unique, locally inspired treat.
