As an Ordained Minister since 1992, I have experienced the joy of sharing the happiness of marriage with many couples as an officiant, sometimes as a singer, and other times as a witness. I would be honored to assist the two of you becoming one heart! I remember when my wife, Cecilia, and I were married in 1987. Each of us knew we wanted certain elements involved that would be special to us and to our family, friends and other guests. We wanted the ceremony to reflect who we were as individuals and as a couple. We didn't want to settle and look back years down the road and wish we would have done things differently. All these years later we have no regrets! Cecilia wanted a rainbow wedding complete with parosals and that's what she got. I wanted to sing a song I had written for her as she walked down the isle. There were twelve bridesmaids and twelve groomsmen and three ministers and a church full of people. It was a grand, great day that created memories we'll cherish forever. This is your day and it should be your way. You may want it to be a big celebratory event like My wife and I had. You may want your day to be simple and informal and relaxed. You may want something that falls somewhere between the two. The important thing is to create the ceremony that YOU want. Don't be afraid to throw out ideas, get creative, brainstorm. The only crazy idea is the one you keep to yourself and then regret not sharing it. Remember, these will be your memories that you will cherish forever. I am honored that you would consider allowing me to be a part of this beautiful moment in your lives! WEDDING OFFICIANT FEES:

Wedding Ceremony $225.00. (To add rehearsal see below.)

* A rehearsal can be added for an additional $75.00.

* Travel:
Prices include travel up to 50 miles one way. (100 miles round trip). For any miles traveled exceeding 100 (including travel for rehearsal) there will be a .70 per mile charge.

* Deposit:
I require a $75.00 (nonrefundable) deposit to secure your date on my calendar. Deposits can be paid in person, mailed, or through an invoice emailed by me via PayPal. You do NOT have to have a PayPal account.
*The balance is paid at the rehearsal or if no rehearsal then prior to the ceremony. MY WIFE AND I ALSO OFFER PREMARITAL COUNSELING. We use SYMBIS (Saving Your Marriage Before It Starts). It begins with an online assessment which produces a 15-18 page report. The SYMBIS Report is incredibly powerful and robust. I am Rev. John W Sullivan. I and my wife, Cecilia, would be delighted to be a part of this special time in your life! As an Ordained Minister since 1992, I have experienced the joy of sharing the happiness of marriage with many couples. I would be honored to assist the two of you becoming one heart!

Cecilia and I have been married since April 12, 1987. Yes. We have been married for a long time, but there is definitely one thing we can say after all these years. WE ARE PASSIONATE ABOUT MARRIAGE AND HELPING COUPLES DEVELOP THE TOOLS NEEDED FOR LIFE LONG LOVE! We get excited about celebrating with a bride and groom and their family on one of the most glorious days of their lives, but we get more excited when a couple (newly engaged or married for decades) decides to invest in their marriage. The great musician and vocalist, Amy Grant, once said; "The more you invest in a marriage, the more valuable it becomes." We have experienced the rewards of making that investment in our own marriage. Sadly, though, we have also experienced the pain that comes from not making that investment a priority for about the first half of our marriage. That's why we want to lead as many couples as we can through "Saving Your Marriage Before It Starts."(SYMBIS) *Assessment also adapts if you've been married before or married for many years. When we got married, we were only 20 years old. We sat down with Cecilia's pastor for about forty-five minutes. He gave us a few pointers and told us that we came from good Christian, church going families and we were going to be just fine! Little did we know that "just fine" isn't good enough. God intended the marriage relationship to be so much more that that! It didn't take long for us to realize that Hollywood had been lying to us and fairy tales were fiction. Our marriage has been so far from perfect. We have experienced the struggles of a miscarriage, physical illness, raising kids, addiction, depression, considering divorce, financial strain, caring for elderly parents and more. No. It hasn't always been pretty. In fact it's been pretty messy sometimes. Thank God, through His mighty Grace, He has brought us through so much in our years together and made something beautiful out of something so broken! Through Christ we have experienced individual and relational healing. Over the years, through Godly counselors and mentors and us investing in our marriage, it has become more than we could have ever dreamed. Our marriage has become valuable and precious!

With Cecilia by my side, I have served in church ministry for about 20 years. We started out in youth ministry and then transitioned into pastoral ministry. ( Note: Take a moment to think about this. During some of our most "untidy" struggles, we were serving on staff in the church. Pastors and ministers are human! Sometimes we need help, but many times we don't know where to turn, or if we can even be that vulnerable and survive. Please know that we are here. We have been where you are.) We are now focused completely on couples ministry. Through premarital counseling and marriage mentoring, we believe God is using us in what we like to call the "Marriage Mission Field." Although we work with couples from all backgrounds, we take a special interest in couples who are searching for answers in their spiritual lives SYMBIS (Saving Your Marriage Before It Starts) begins with an online assessment which produces a 15-18 page report.
