With COVID still in play in 2021, The FrostBite Open Committee has had many discussions with Fox Hills Golf & Banquet Center and our Sponsors about the FrostBite Open which was scheduled for April 24, 2021.

We have had to change the date to Sunday, September 26, 2021.

If you have already registered for last year's outing, we are pleased to let you know that your registration will be used for the 2021 FrostBite Open on Sunday, September 26, 2021. However, if this poses a problem, please let us know.

With COVID-19 impacting everyday life, Penrickton Center for Blind Children faces new challenges as we continue to serve the blind, multi-disabled children in our five-day residential and day care programs.

The FrostBite Open Committee has had many discussions with Fox Hills Golf & Banquet Center and a number of our Sponsors about the FrostBite Open which was scheduled for April 25, 2020, then rescheduled for October 31, 2020. Based on these discussions, with much deliberation and thought, we have decided to CANCEL the 23rd Annual FrostBite Open this year.

If you have already registered for this year’s outing, we are pleased to let you know that your registration will be used for the 2021 FrostBite Open on Saturday, April 24, 2021. However, if this poses a problem, please let us know.

This is truly an extraordinary time in the country and the great State of Michigan. The Coronavirus COVID-19 outbreak and the Governor’s Executive Ordering suspending activities has had a huge impact on planning events and fundraising. We have had many discussions with Fox Hills Golf & Banquet Center about the FrostBite Open which was scheduled to be held on April 25, 2020.

Based on these discussions, with much deliberation and thought, we are excited to announce that FrostBite Open will be held on Saturday, October 31, 2020! Everything about the great FrostBite Open will stay the same…breakfast, tee time, raffles, dinner, awards…except for the date. While the outing is moved from April to October, the temperature range for those two months are the same…so it can and will be a FrostBite Open!
