Join Us for FREE Veteran Group Therapy facilitated by the Great Lakes Vet Center in Saginaw. This is DROP IN, and you do not need to be in the VA Healthcare System to attend. This group meets every other Tuesday starting May 26th, 12:30-2:00pm at Pegasus Springs, 4800 Old State Road, National City, MI

Happy May 1st everyone! Veteran’s acceptance packages went out in the mail today so be on the lookout for them by early next week. Follow the instructions in the package and make sure you mail them back as soon as you can. For those veterans who signed up but do not receive an acceptance package in the mail don’t lose hope, you are on our standby list. Historically we have been able to get most if not all of our standby veterans out fishing. We will contact you as soon as we get you a seat. With that being said, if there is anyone out there who is willing to donate their time and boat to take a couple of our standby veterans out on Saginaw Bay for a day of fishing and comradery this July 18th, please register here www.pegasusspringsmi.com/tawas-bay-vets-nets, we still need 5-10 boats to get all of our veterans out fishing. Good morning everyone. Hope everyone is safe and dry after this spring deluge we’ve had for the last week, looks like we are going to dry out a little bit here next week. May 1st we will be sending out our acceptance letters to those veterans that we have seats for. As of today, we have 100 veterans signed up and a handful on the waiting list but only have seats for around 70. Historically we know we have some veterans that have to bow out for different reasons, but we are still in need of around 10 boats/crews. If you or anyone that you know has a boat and are capable of taking a couple of veterans out for a day of fishing and comradery on Lake Huron please sign up as a boat captain. We are also still in need of volunteers to help on the day of the event and for set up. Warmer days are ahead and we are planning a great end of the week with our monthly ❤️🇺🇸💙4th Thursday Veteran Meal 🍽️ with a loaded baked potato 🥔bar with all the 🧈Fixin‘s 🥓including pulled pork 😋with an 🧀appetizer tray and banana pudding 🍌 by request! Arrive between 4:30-6:30pm.

And don’t forget THIS FRIDAY is the kickoff of our Weekly 🐴Veteran🐓Farm 🚜 Friday 2p-6P with potluck meal. 🌭🍔🍕
Each Veteran is asked to bring something. We are planning this to be a regular, Veteran organized event. If anyone has a co****le game, please bring it, you can play cards, walk the trails once the ice and snow melt, see the horses and make it a day of connection. We also have a garden 🍆🌶️🌽🥒🫜for you to plant, tend and harvest.

Please do not come earlier than 2 PM as we may have early appointments that day.
