Tomorrow is the big day, as we welcome the Sicilian Tenors for an incredible evening of live music, alongside delicious food and open bar as we wrap up Italian Heritage Month here at the Italian Club! This event will include a 6pm-8pm cocktail reception, welcoming catering partners to include Casa Santo Stefano, Trattoria Pasquale, Catering By The Family, and Frankies Italian Deli! ON SALE NOW - DESTINATION: ITALY! We are just about 50% sold out for our upcoming Italian Food & Wine Experience on Friday, April 11th. This social event will offer attendees the opportunity to sample of 50 different Italian Wines, alongside our array of wines will be a one of a kind grazing table with assorted meats, cheese, and bites courtesy of Wood & Cheese. To expand the culinary experience, our friends from Catering By The Family, Frankies Italian Deli, and other culinary vendors will provide sample bites celebrating the essence of Italian cuisine.

REMINDER - TOMORROW, 11/1 IS OUT KREWE OF ITALIA MEMBERSHIP DRIVE - Have you ever wanted to be part of a Krewe? The Krewe of Italia will be hosting a membership drive on Friday, November 1st in conjunction with the Club’s First Friday Happy Hour. The Krewe is always happy to welcome to new members into our family. You must be a member of the Italian Club of Tampa in order to join our Krewe. Krewe of Italia provides social opportunities through Krewe-related activities as well as Italian Club activities to promote an element of camaraderie for all its members. Krewe of Italia participates in most of the Tampa Bay Area parades to include Children’s Gasparilla Parade, Ye Mystic Krewe Gasparilla Parade, Krewe of Sant’ Yago’s Knight Parade and Rough Riders St. Patrick’s Parade, and more. There will be Krewe representatives on hand to answer and questions you may have, as well as register new Krewe Members.

DATE CHANGE: SICILY DINNER LECTURE NOW 10/30 - Due to storm impacts, we have to postpone this event one week, from October 23rd to October 30th. Same time, same place. We hope you will consider joining us on the new date and supporting our cultural programming.

This next lecture will cover Archimedes: Sicilian Genius and Timeless Innovator (more information on topic below). This event will include a delicious three course dinner prior to the presentation. As our community recovers from the impacts of of both Hurricane Helene and Hurricane Milton, we wanted to let you know that the Italian Club has weathered the storms, and is open and conducting business as usual. We have received numerous inquiries from clients in need of venue space due to storm impacts. EVENT POSTPONED: ITALIAN INVITATIONAL - In light of the recent storm and its impacts on our community, and with the threat of another hurricane next week, we have decided to postpone our ITALIAN INVITATIONAL GOLF TOURNAMENT to a yet to be determined date. With two back-to-back storms, and so much of our community being impacted, we feel it is best to focus our efforts on supporting our community and look to a future date to hold this legendary tournament. We are looking to reschedule in the March-April 2025 timeframe as the pending time change, course availability, working around existing events and the holidays makes it challenging to re-schedule sooner. Once we have selected a new date, all current players and sponsors will be notified by the committee. Thank you for your understanding and please stay safe.

POSTPONED: FIESTA DE ESPANA CELEBRATION - In light of the recent storm and its impacts on our community, and with the threat of another hurricane next week, we have decided to postpone our FIESTA DE ESPANA event to a yet to be determined date. With two back-to-back storms, and so much of our community being impacted, we feel it is best to focus our efforts on supporting our community and look to a future date to hold this special cultural celebration. As one of Ybor's Cultural Social Organizations, we want to make sure we host this event in a manner that is respectful, and allows our members and guests the opportunity to enjoy themselves with friends and family.
