⭐️ Anthony Morigerato is an internationally recognized tap dancer, producer, director, educator, filmmaker and Emmy Nominated Choreographer. He is the founder and current Executive Producer of AM Dance Productions, a NYC based dance, film, and theater company. Anthony also founded Operation: Tap in 2014, a globally recognized platform for the tap dance community. He presently serves as the endeavors managing partner and co-director with Ayodele Casel and Mike Minery. In 2011, Anthony broke the world record for The Most Tap Sounds In One Minute, having achieved 1,163 sounds, a record that still stands today. Since 2021, Anthony continues and maintains a busy international touring schedule, performing and teaching at festivals, schools, and institutions around the globe. In 2026, look out for the new digital platform It’s All On The Record, a world premiere at The Joyce in NYC, and the release of two AM Dance Production films of Echo and Transcription.

Meet the 2026 class of Professional Development Program Artists!! ⭐️
In just over two weeks these Artists from all over the world, locally and internationally, will join together in Tampa, Florida for a week of rhythm and inspiration. These Artists will be mentored closely by Derick Grant, Aaron Tolson, and Ashlyn Bolton to create a new work that will be performed at Disney World and in COPASETIC. Alongside that they will have the opportunity to take class with exclusive PDP instructors Anthony Morigerato, Luke Hickey and Leah Silva… attend the Tampa Bay Tap Festival in full, film a tap music video, participate in a professional photoshoot, partake in tap jams, footage, and games as well as go to Magic Kingdom Theme Park together. It is going to be a jam packed week!! We are excited to see the bonds, growth, and talent that will form!

will be popping in to Tampa! Don’t miss your chance to dance, June 15th 6:00-7:30pm. We are hosting an open tap class for intermediate to advanced dancers with the incredible Luke Hickey!
This class is open to the public and will accept walk ins, $25 at the door.
📍 located at The Barrymore Hotel in Downtown Tampa

⭐️Luke Hickey, “never unmusical” (New York Times), is a NYC based tap dancer, choreographer, teacher and actor hailing from Chapel Hill, NC, and was named by Dance Magazine among their “25 to Watch” in 2020. Hickey began studying at the age of seven with his lifelong mentor, Gene Medler. Hickey spent 10 consecutive seasons studying and touring with the internationally acclaimed North Carolina Youth Tap Ensemble (NCYTE). In addition to the his study with Medler, he is also an alumnus of the School at Jacob’s Pillow and Pace University NYC (BA Film & Screen Studies, BA Communications Studies, cm laude). Since 2018, Hickey has been a company member of MacArthur Fellow, Michelle Dorrance’s acclaimed company, Dorrance Dance.

His choreographic career began with the debut of his evening-length work, “A Little Old, A Little New,” which premiered at the world famous Birdland Jazz Club. The work later traveled to Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival, Battery Dance Festival, the Joyce Theater’s season at Chelsea Factory and headlined the American Dance Festival’s fall series in 2022. Hickey’s newest solo project is “Strike,” his percussion ensemble which has played The Glade at Little Island and Birdland Jazz Club. With Dorrance Dance Productions, he and longtime collaborator Elizabeth Burke are currently touring their work, A Swing Suite, now into 2026 across the United States.

Hickey is very passionate about teaching and educating the next generation of tap dancers. He has been on faculty at Harlem School of the Arts, guest faculty at STEPS on Broadway, and tap dance festivals around the world. ⭐️
