Mental Health Awareness Month is about more than just awareness. 💚
It’s about breaking the silence.
Breaking the shame.
Breaking the idea that people have to struggle alone.
Because the truth is… so many people are hurting quietly.
People smile while battling anxiety.
Show up while carrying depression.
Keep going while fighting thoughts no one else can see.
And too many lives are lost because people are afraid to talk about it.
Afraid to ask for help.
Afraid of being judged.
That’s why conversations matter.
That’s why community matters.
And that’s why su***de prevention starts long before a crisis.
It starts with awareness.
With connection.
With creating spaces where people feel safe enough to say: “I’m not okay.”
At Top of Tamarack, we believe movement can help people heal.
We believe showing up for each other matters.
We believe that when people feel connected, supported, and seen… lives can change.
Every year, people come to this mountain carrying grief, pain, hope, healing, and stories they’ve never shared before.
And somehow, through every mile and every conversation, the stigma gets a little smaller.
That’s why we climb. 💚
If you’re struggling, you don’t have to do it alone.
