Tallahassee's geek convention is back for a THIRD YEAR with its ongoing mission to bring the wide world of geeks and nerds to the quiet canopy roads of Florida's Capital City. Two years running, ALT*Con has packed the Civic Center with celebrities, vendors, artists, amazing panels and workshops, and, that rarest of con events, a CASH-PRIZE costume contest. For its third year, it'll be moving to th

e renovated buildings at the North Florida Fairgrounds, and will take place nearly a month early, on international Pi Day! In spite of the venue change, don't worry, the things you know and love about ALT*Con won't be changing! The always popular ALT*Con TARDIS will have her spot, as will the 501st, the family-friendly atmosphere, awesome artists, kick-ass vendors and the epic geekery will remain, with even more added besides.
