2020 RURAL ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT SUMMIT CANCELLED/POSTPONED
Out of an abundance of caution and to assist with our nation's preventive efforts, the FREDA Board of Directors has made the decision to CANCEL/POSTPONE the 2020 Florida Rural Economic Development Summit due to the Coronavirus (Covid-19) and the impacts on our Florida rural community. The Summit will be rescheduled sometime later in the 2020 year and we will notify you about the new dates for the Summit as soon as we have confirmed the dates. Some important information:
1. If you have made hotel reservations with Hilton Disney Springs hotel, we will take care of canceling all hotel rooms. Please DO NOT contact the hotel directly as this will be taken care of by our staff.
2. As soon as we confirm the scheduled dates for the Summit, we will reach out to each person that was registered for the event to see if the new dates will allow them to attend; if the new dates will not work we will work with each of you to insure your registration fees are refunded.
We are very disappointed to have had to make this decision but are sure that you understand and can appreciate where our efforts need to be over this challenging period in our lives.
