Its almost October which means it’s getting closer to one of the best times of the year! We are so close to kicking off the holiday season that we’d like to share the opportunity of our annual
Foster A Snowflake program.

By sponsoring a snowflake you are making a direct positive impact of children in foster care, right here in Cherokee County! What better way to spread love and holiday cheer than blessing a child for Christmas!

To celebrate April and Child Abuse Awareness month our MDT task force( Multi Disciplinary Team) is having a shirt fundraiser.

Support our District by ordering a shirt from the link below, kids sizes are available too! Supporting MDT helps us with resources to educate and prevent child abuse and neglect for our Cherokee and Wagoner families.

District 27A joined with Wagoner County Commissioners office signed a Child Abuse Proclamation this morning.

April is Child Abuse Awareness Month, don't forget to wear your blue in April!

Happy Friday Heroes!

One of the many special times for our District is quickly approaching. Holiday Hope 2022! Our Foster a Snowflake program will be kicking off November 1st!

For those that are new to this page, Foster a Snowflake is our holiday hope opportunity to provide gifts for children of all ages that are in foster care for Cherokee and Wagoner county. We are so blessed to have community partners like you to help us fill joy and love to our kiddos for the holiday season!

Need to have your child's car seat checked? Stop by our car seat checkup event!

A limited number of car seats will be given away at no cost and for $10 (cash only) at our Sept. 9 car seat checkup event. Nationally certified technicians will be on site to teach you how to properly install your child's car seat. Stop by between 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. No appointment necessary. To participate, you'll need to show proof of government assistance (WIC, SoonerCare, food stamps).
