We're thrilled to kick off our Grit City Comic Show 2026 guest lineup with a TRUE LEGEND, the incredibly talented Michel Gagné!

If you've loved any of these movies, then you've seen Michel's work: The Iron Giant, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, Ratatouille, Brave, Osmosis Jones, Star Wars: The Clone Wars, and More. Plus the upcoming Brad Bird movie, Ray Gunn. Michel has contributed his extraordinary talent to Disney, Pixar, Warner Bros., Don Bluth Studios, Cartoon Network, and more.

He's written and illustrated comics and books for DC Comics, Image Comics, Random House, Fantagraphics, and his own GAGNE International Press.

He co-created the critically acclaimed video game "Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet"

His work has earned him a BAFTA, an Annie Award, and nominations across film, animation, gaming, and comics.

With Memorial Day this month, from now through the end of May, we will donate a ticket to Grit City Comic Show 2026 to Veterans and Active Duty Personnel through our amazing partner, Vet Tix. This is in addition to our usual ticket donations!

If you haven't heard of Vet Tix (Veteran Tickets Foundation), they provide incredible experiences to those who have served and are currently serving, as well as their families, by donating tickets to various events across the country (we have been donating to Vet Tix since 2013).

Last year, we were able to donate 300 extra tickets to VetTix!

FREE COMIC BOOK DAY is THIS SATURDAY, May 2nd!
Your local comic shops are handing out FREE books from a variety of publishers this Saturday. Some stores will even host guest creators, cosplayers, and other events in addition to some killer sales. Whether you're a lifelong collector or just curious, this is the perfect day to go to a comic store and discover something new. Bring the kids. Bring a friend. Just show up and support local comic book retailers!

Arcane Comics up in Shoreline is closing on May 15th. Make sure to swing by there sometime.

It is time for a change. As of May 15, 2026, our lease in Shoreline will be coming to an end after 10 years. We will be closing our retail location. While we hope to secure a new retail location soon, in the meantime, we offer flat rate $5 shipping as well as pickup at our warehouse space located in Shoreline. Subscribers should continue your subscription service with us if you would like. Pickup will be available for subscribers or website orders. More announcements will be made through social media as we move forward. Thank you for your understanding, patience, and support through this process.

If you didn’t know already, Artist Alley sold out about four weeks ago, so now is a good time to apply for the waitlist.

Exhibitor Booths are at least half sold out as well.
