Thursday, September 17, Edison Live brings four distinct voices to the historic Edison Square for a night of lyricism, storytelling and boundary-pushing Northwest hip-hop.

6 PM — STED D.
Kicking off his birthday celebration behind the decks—and stepping to the mic with music created to uplift and inspire.

7 PM — WORDPLAY T.JAY
A veteran lyricist, producer and educator making “Music for the Underdog,” joined by Icarus Jay and special guests.

8 PM — ARALESS
Measured chaos when he raps, a soulful croon when he sings, and an alternative sound that stretches the edges of hip-hop.

9 PM — ASCENDED REALITY
A technical, lyric-forward Seattle duo blending socially conscious bars with science fiction, anime and blerd culture.

Brooke Richey of Black Bird Collective, Joshua of Corduroy Fox, and Guilded Lilly joined us for Edison Live during First Friday.

Edison Live is about bringing people together around live music and giving artists a room to share their stories. The PNW music scene is full of distinct voices, sounds, and seriously good talent—and we want more people to hear it.

Introducing Edison Live: Saturday Sessions.

This Saturday, Tacoma artists Erina McLaren and Ruston Way take the stage for an afternoon of live local music inside historic Edison Square.

Erina McLaren brings soulful Americana shaped by heartfelt storytelling, while Ruston Way delivers uplifting pop-rock influenced by Twenty One Pilots, Imagine Dragons and Linkin Park.

First Friday returns to Edison Square this Friday.

Join us for EDISON LIVE, an evening of live music featuring artists shaping the sound of the Pacific Northwest, alongside a local vendor market, coffee, burgers, and a full bar—all under one roof.

This month’s lineup:

6 PM — Brooke Richey
An award-winning composer, vocalist, and indie-rock artist bringing together influences from jazz, rock, musical theatre, and beyond.

7 PM — Corduroy Fox
An eclectic Olympia indie-folk band blending country and Latin influences with funk, surf, and soul.

8 PM — Guilded Lilly
Tacoma’s award-winning, BIPOC-led indie folk/blues rock band known for genre-bending musicianship, powerful vocals, and a captivating live show.

And there’s plenty happening beyond the stage.

☕ Our brand-new Anaïs Coffee Anaïs Coffee located inside Edison Square, will be open and serving throughout the evening.

Coffee has officially arrived at Edison Square. ☕️

Welcome Anaïs Coffee, South Tacoma Way’s newest coffee shop, opening inside our historic building.

Join Kaja and the Anaïs Coffee team for their soft launch tomorrow, Friday, August 21, then find them here Monday through Saturday from 7 AM–2 PM.

Come grab a coffee, get some work done, meet a friend, or settle in for a while. There’s plenty of space to hang out, plus a dedicated kids area for families.
