Look at this, Cynthia & Howard!! He volunteered to help after work & look who the camera caught! Thank you, Joe (aka Yam Fest President) for watering our youth’s sweet potato plants! We need all the help we can get this summer, especially while our office is closed for our staff to take some vacation time! The office is crazy busy August thru October. We can’t let our youth down. They are looking forward to digging ‘taters during Yam Fest week in October.

The Youth Sweet Potato Spring Planting Day was rescheduled due to all the rain we received today and to top it off, it was still raining at 6pm. Let’s hope for clear skies on Tuesday, June 2nd when we we will try again! See you then!
