(CFAC), is a vibrant cultural and artistic hub committed to the promotion and development of artists of the African Diaspora. The mission of the center is to exalt cultural and artistic pluralism by collecting, exhibiting, teaching and interpreting the visual and performing arts. Public programming includes exhibitions, film screenings, gallery talks, workshops and courses in the studio, performing and expressive arts. Looking for a fun way to move, make music, and express yourself this fall? Adult Music & Movement Classes at CFAC are back!

Starting Monday, September 14-December 3rd, join us for weekly evening classes. Each course is just $10.

🎹 PIANO | Mondays, 6:30–7:30 PM
Learn music theory and explore how to play popular songs and a variety of musical styles with Berny Williford.

🩰 BALLET | Mondays, 6:30–7:30 PM
Build your ballet technique, terminology, and body alignment with Charles Haislah.

🔥 VIBE & FLOW: A MOVEMENT EXPERIENCE | Tuesdays, 6:30–7:30 PM
Contemporary dance - move to Soca, Reggae, Kompa, Afrobeats, R&B, hip-hop, and freestyle with Jaquaia Reid.

🪘 WEST AFRICAN DRUM | Wednesdays, 6:30–7:30 PM Step into the rhythm and explore the exhilarating world of percussion with David “Etse” Nyadedzor.

Join us for Wheel Throwing or Hand Building from September 14th to December 3rd, 2026. Whether you’re new to ceramics or looking to build your skills, this is your chance to create, experiment, and bring your ideas to life through clay✨
