Early this morning, watching people head to work and school along Highway 82, I looked up and saw our Peanut Festival banner waving over the road. It made me pause and smile. Peanut Festival season is here! 🥜💚

It also reminded me how thankful we are for the City of Sylvester, Georgia Government and everything they do to help make our festival successful! Our Public Works, City Manager, Mayor, and Council are always a phone call/text away!

They hang our banner, make sure the park’s lights and electricity are ready, and keep the grounds clean and beautiful. They provide extra hands and boots on the ground when it’s time to load up, set up, and break down.

There are so many things happening behind the scenes, and their help makes a tremendous difference!

To the City employees who show up and help us bring it all together: we see your hard work, and we appreciate you! Thank you for helping us welcome our community and visitors to a festival we can all be proud of. 🥜
