Dad designated his grandson’s non-profit, Day 1 Bags, for memorial contributions. The Day 1 Bag’s mission is to supply all foster youth across the United States the best duffel bag or backpack any foster youth could ever want instead of a trash bag as luggage when they are moved from home to home or removed from their home. Halen, Hudson and Holly Beaton (3 of his grandchildren) are former foster youth.
