We’re so stoked to share that Ocean Fest was named 2026 Non-Profit of the Year by the Greater Topsail Area Chamber of Commerce & Tourism!

The ladies of Team Ocean Fest showed up to represent and bring this one home. The guys? We’re pretty sure they were out surfing… 🤙😂

This award belongs to our entire Ocean Fest community. To our team, volunteers, sponsors, partners, and everyone who continues to show up for our mission, thank you for helping us continue to grow year after year.

Here’s to protecting what we love, giving back to our community, and making an impact together. We couldn’t do it without you!

Good oysters shouldn't end with the last bite. 🦪 🌊

Through our partnership with Ghost Fleet Oyster Company, oyster shells from the Oysters & Pearls Gala get a second life. Instead of heading to the landfill, the shells are collected and delivered to the North Carolina Coastal Federation, where they help build oyster reefs and restore living shorelines.

Why does that matter? Oyster reefs provide habitat for marine life, help protect shorelines from erosion, and filter pollutants from the water. Recycling shells helps put that natural resource back where it belongs, in the coastal ecosystem.

This is what Ocean Fest is about: bringing people together to celebrate, protect, and give back to the ocean we love. 🤙

Enjoy the oysters. Recycle the shells. Give a little back to the coast. 🌊🐚
