This June, history takes the stage.

Patriot Hall presents The Promise: Untold Stories of South Carolina's Black Patriots, in collaboration with the Orangeburg County Chamber of Commerce, Claflin University, and the Claflin University Theatre Ensemble.

This powerful evening honors the remarkable but often overlooked Black patriots who fought for freedom and helped shape our nation's founding. Written by Brandi LaShay and Annette Dees Grevious, the production brings their stories to life as part of Sumter County's commemoration of the 250th anniversary of the American Revolution.
