Sumter Iris Festival We look forward to welcoming you to one of Sumter’s grandest celebrations! Held annually every Memorial Day weekend.

This annual 3-day celebration is packed with excitement for all ages—live concerts, arts and crafts, vibrant plants and flowers, games, rides, and plenty of activities just for kids. Good morning from the Sumter Iris Festival! Today is Saturday and our parade starts at 10 AM starting on Miller Road at Alice Drive then heading south to liberty Street then east over to the Civic Center.

RTA buses will be running all day today until 6:15 pm between the Civic Center and Swan Lake Iris Gardens. Parking for the festival is only at the end of Garden Street and at the Civic Center for our 2026 event.

We’ve got some great entertainment on two stages this year and over 100 vendors, including 21 food vendors.

As always, all of our kids rides and games are free to play and admission to the festival is free!
