Thank you, Chattooga County. Y’all showed up big this year and we’re grateful for every one of you. Huge thanks to our sponsors, volunteers, vendors, ride crews, first responders, and stage teams — we couldn’t do it without you. 🙌

We have been made aware of a Facebook post from a parent regarding their child’s armband at the fair this past weekend.

At the time of the incident, the fair council was not informed of the issue. After learning about the post, the fair council immediately discussed the matter with the midway operator, who was also unaware of the situation. Had we been notified, the midway has protocols in place that could have been used to accommodate the family. Both the fair council and the midway sincerely apologize to this family.

It is our priority to ensure that every guest at the fair has a safe, fun, and enjoyable experience—regardless of their needs. We encourage anyone who encounters an issue during the fair to please reach out to a member of the fair council so we can make every effort to accommodate and resolve concerns.

Final day at the Chattooga County Fair 🎡

Thank you, Chattooga County — y’all have shown up big this week. Huge shoutout to our volunteers, vendors, ride crews, law enforcement/EMS, performers, and sponsors for making it happen. Couldn’t do it without you. 🙌

If you’re coming out today:
• Hours: 2–9 PM
• Gate: $5 (rides are extra)
• Wristbands: $30 for unlimited rides
• Pro tip: bring a chair for the concert

Tonight’s music:
5 PM — local gospel
6 PM — Karen Peck & New River (included with admission) 🎶

Grab one more ride, one more lemonade, and one more funnel cake under the lights.

It’s Friday — let’s do the fair right. 🎡🎶
Gates are 5–11 PM, and it’s Military Night — free with military ID (everyone else $5). Wristbands for unlimited rides are $30 tonight.

Tonight’s music: 1st Generation Band on the main stage 9–11 PM — included with your gate ticket. Grab food, hit a few rides, then settle in for the show. Full music details on the site. 

Demo Kitchen (quick stops before the concert):

Opening night is here! 🎡
Thursday, Aug 21 • 5–10 PM at the Chattooga County Ag Education Center. Student Night = students get in free (adults $5). Rides are extra—Thursday wristbands are $25 for unlimited rides, so it’s the perfect night to eat, ride, repeat.

No live music tonight—concerts start Friday–Sunday—so use Thursday to hit the midway, try the food, and check out the free attractions. We’ve got magic shows (multiple daily + roaming magician) and the Jurassic Kingdom Dinosaur Show the kids will love.

If you’re into demos, swing by the Demonstration Kitchen tonight:
• 5:30 PM – Chocolate Cherry Jam with Nancy Bishop
• 7:00 PM – Mini Bouquets with Master Gardener Joy Phelan
Quick, fun sessions you can drop into between rides and snacks.

📍 40 Middle School Rd, Summerville — note the new parking entrance just past the Middle School Rd entrance, closer to the midway.
