Indian Summer Festival-Suches, Georgia The Indian Summer Festival was organized in 1977 as a way to help Woody Gap School, nestled in the North Georgia mountains in the community of Suches.

The area was named by Diane Wood 45 years ago as "The Valley Above the Clouds".
