**Announcement**
After 20 years, the Great Lakes Brew Fest is being retired. We feel that the best years of the festival have passed and itโs time to reflect on all the wonderful memories of its past glories.
We are proud of what the festival has achieved since its inception in 2004. The goal was to become one of the premier craft-beer events in the country while raising funds to sustain the Kilties Drum and Bugle Corps. We feel that those goals have been achieved and although the Kilties Drum and Bugle Corps no longer march, the event did provide funds for many other musical groups and color guards. At its peak in 2017, the GLBF attracted nearly 5000 attendees from over 20 states to Racine's lakefront, having an enormous economic impact on local hotels and businesses. We set out to expose the masses to the fledgling craft beer movement but never expected the event to grow to such a large size. We are truly grateful.
We wish to extend our gratitude to the attendees, breweries, homebrewers, sponsors and volunteers for all of their support. We hope you enjoyed all the Good Cheer! and Great Beer! of the Great Lakes Brew Fest. Cheers!
