The Stuart Best of the Block BBQ Cook-Off is set for Sept 18-19, 2026. Team registrations are open via mail and will be available at GetMeRegistered.com next week. Contact Russ if you have questions. Flyer is below.

Vendors are instructed to register ASAP as last years event was a Big Time performer. Contact Gina at [email protected] for the registration form.

$3,500 CASH Prize Purse! Cash 1st-5th Place. Trophies 1st-3rd.

The 2026 Dates for the Best of the Block BBQ Cook-Off in Stuart, IA are September 18-19. Same check-in at 5pm on Friday with Team Meeting and meats given out right after.

Team Entry of $200.00, which includes the meats.
Brisket - 1
Chicken Quarters (8-10 pieces each Team)
Spare Ribs - 3 racks
Pork Butts - 2

Payout is 1st - 5th Place, RGC and GC.

We know we are the same weekend as other events, but it's impossible not to be. Late summer is very active in the BBQ Comp scene.

Thank you West Central Valley for showing up to the Stuart Best of the Block BBQ Cook-Off!! Record turnout.

Congrats to Not Dat Bad BBQ for taking the Grand Champion win and Family Tradition BBQ for the RGC.
