Tucked away in the countryside in rural Stronghurst, IL, The Farmer's Daughter is the perfect setting for your special event. We offer a rustic, yet elegant, setting for your wedding or other occasion. Our three season barn has the capacity to host 225 guests inside with outside seating opportunities to dine, play games, and enjoy the beautiful setting. The landscape creates the ideal location for
an outside wedding with abundant areas to accommodate a tent and/or additional seating. In addition to our Main Barn, The Farmer's Daughter provides a separate bar area. Behind the Main Barn, there is a rustic fire pit with tree stump seating, surrounded by open areas. The Main Barn was built in the 1950s and features a decorative loft, cement floor, authentic wood beam structure, two custom-made chandeliers constructed from windmill blades, four vintage chandeliers, and white lights strung throughout the rafters with four doors entrance. The Main Barn has enough space to allow for catering and an area for a Disc Jockey or a band to set up with room for dancing. The Farmer's Daughter has worked with many local vendors to provide seating rentals, caterers, and florist.
