Buy books for yourself, as gifts, or from a Wish List and a percentage of total sales will be directed to the Bertha Bartlett Public Library Foundation building expansion project. Online shopping and Wish Lists can be accessed at this link: https://y6839.myubam.com/Event/1371705.

Wish Lists have been submitted by the Bertha Bartlett Public Library, Gilbert Public Library, and Roland Public Library, as well as the Roland-Story Elementary library. Elementary classroom teachers with submitted wishlists include: Laurie Arnold (PS), Sandy Bauer (PS), Deb Lunn (K), and Kris Hull (2).

Online shopping is available until November 15.

The Valkyries, who will be performing at the Storytelling Showcase on November 8 during the STORY Festival, sang the National Anthem at a recent volleyball game. The Valkyries are an all-female, student-run singing group from Roland-Story High School.

The decorations are coming together for the 2019 STORY Festival Dinner on November 9 at 6:30 pm! We'd like to thank Slim's Country Market for donating mini pumpkins for the event.

The evening's entertainment includes appearances by Eric Hanson KCCI and Story Time with Will Stuck and a Skype session with Dr. Frances Bartlett Kinne.

Tickets are $40 each and may be purchased at Bertha Bartlett Public Library. The dinner is catered by Guys with Grills, but you may bring your own beer or wine. Glassware will be provided.

Tickets for the dinner must be purchased by November 1 for catering numbers. The dinner is catered by Guys with Grills and the entertainment features Fran Kinne, Eric Hansen and Will Stuck.
