SATURDAY, May 7, 2022 from 12 noon to 5 pm (rain or shine) Stony Brook University’s Charles B. This year’s Festival features a presentation of Naginata the preferred weapon of Samurai Women. B Wang Center while you watch Taiko performances and demonstrations of the Samurai martial arts of the Naginata and Kendo, and Okinawan Karate Kobudo. Be entertained in the Wang Center Theater with world class performances of Dance, Koto & Samisen, Fue, and more. View beautiful exhibits of Ikebana, Sumi-e, Pottery and more. Participate in Origami and other workshops. Quench your thirst and hunger at the Jasmine Restaurant located in the Wang Center.
