We’re excited to announce BytesCTF has returned!

BytesCTF is Stony Brook Computing Society’s first Capture The Flag event. Spend 12 hours completing various cybersecurity challenges to find secret flags, and compete to catch em’ all. Our topics include binary exploitation, website investigation, cryptography and much more.

The event will take place from March 27th-28th at CEWIT, which is located right here at Stony Brook University!

Important Message from the BytesCTF Team:

Due to unforeseen logistical issues, we regret to inform you that BytesCTF will have to be postponed until the Spring 2020 semester.

A lot of hard work has been put in by the BytesCTF committee , SBCS Security Sig, and SBCS to create a successful event for you all, however we won’t be able to see the results of our hard work just yet. With all the extra time we now have we’ll make sure to bring you guys more challenges, more sponsors, and more fun!

The new date for BytesCTF will be announced soon. For everyone who has already registered for the November event, you will be given priority registration for the New date.

We’d like to apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and would like to thank you all for your support in BytesCTF!
